Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia are courting Zoo FC left-back Isaac Kipyegon ahead of 2018 season, Futaa.com understands.
The speedster who has been with Zoo for couple of years was part of the national team, Harambee Stars that won the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup although he didn't feature in any of the matches.
Gor is looking for a second choice left-back who'll give Ugandan Godfrey Walusimbi competition in that position and have now earmarked Kipyegon for signing.
Interested
-We hear they are interested in him but they are yet to speak to us over his signing so for now we will treat it as a rumour. He has a contract with us and if Gor are truly interested in him, they know the right channel to follow, a Zoo official told Futaa.com.
The club is however open to his departure with a number of replacements being considered to fill the slot should he vacate
