BREAKING! Manchester United join Sanchez race

Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in a supposed swap deal that will involve United parting ways with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in exchange for the Chilean forward.
Despite Arsene Wenger's stance that the Chile international will still be at the Emirates Stadium once the January transfer window closes regardless of his contract situation, all signs are pointing towards an exit this month. The 29-year-old's deal expires in the summer and is free to talk with foreign clubs in regards to a pre-contract agreement which has seen him linked with a move to Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain as well as Serie A champions Juventus.
However, it has been widely reported that Alexis' preference is to stay in England and join Premier League leaders Manchester City where he'd be reunited with his former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola and there's been suggestions this week that a bid in the region of £20m will be launched.
Although, it would now appear that City have more competition for Sanchez's signature.
