Kenyan Premier League side, Posta Rangers is set to complete the signing of AFC Leopards forward Marsellus 'Adebayor' Ingotsi after the two clubs reached an agreement over his transfer from the den.
Ingotsi has been Leopards senior side for one season after being promoted to from their junior side at the start of 2017 season. He featured mainly as a sub scoring two goals and registering three assists the entire season. He was deemed surplus to requirement by coach Robert Matano and was made available for a loan move but the player is now set to complete a permanent move from the den.
Wanted man
Posta chairman John Tonui has confirmed that his side is closing in on the lanky forward who was a target of several other Kenyan Premier League clubs. Ulinzi Stars, Wazito, Nzoia Sugar, SoNy Sugar and Kakamega Homeboyz were all reportedly interested in signing the former Kitale Tranfoc hitman.
-We have not signed him yet, we are still ironing out a few other issues. We should be able to complete the transfer next week. Ingotsi is a young good forward and we believe by playing with our other experienced strikers he will become even a better player, Tonui told Futaa.com when contacted.
He will become Posta's second signing after Peter Ng'ang'a who joined from Nakuru AllStars. Other players linked with moves to the Mail-men are Thika United's Michael Mutinda, Gor Mahia's Teddy Osok and goalkeeper Lucas Indeche who is currently unattached.
