Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has warnedManchester United they would lose an 'exceptional' player in Juan Mata.
The Spaniard could leave the Red Devils on a free transfer at the end of the season if a new contract is not agreed. And Guardiola labelled Mata as an exceptional player admitting he has been a fan of the former Chelsea man.
“He’s an exceptional player, one of the players I like the most. From the period in Valencia, atBarcelona when I was there, we wanted to bring him but the problem was that we had a lot of midfield players that was the only problem," he said.
“But, he’s incredible, he played well for Chelsea and United and has a good restaurant in Manchester.”
