Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly pushing for his club to seal the transfer of Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio, who has also been linked with Manchester United.
The Spain international moved from the Bernabeu to Stamford Bridge last summer but has not yet had the best of times since switching to English football. Still, Morata could have some exciting influence in the transfer market if all goes to plan, as he looks for Chelsea to raid his old club Real Madrid for the signing of Asensio, according to Diario Gol. Manchester United was also in for Asensio, having even tabled a staggering £177 million bid for the Spaniard.
The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the most exciting young players in Europe at the moment but hasn’t enjoyed as much playing time for Los Blancos this season.
