Arsenal are reportedly interested in acquiring PSV winger Hirving Lozano.
Sources claim that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has identified the Mexican as a viable replacement for wantaway forward Alexis Sanchez, who continues to remain adamant that he wants to exit the Emirates come January.
Lozano has burst into the limelight this season after registering an impressive 10 goals and three assists in three appearances for PSV this season - a development that has garnered the attention of a number of top European teams including Manchester United.
The Gunners are rumoured to be planning to table a £42.5m bid for the 22-year-old in the not-so-distant future, which would in itself be a record as it would be the highest fee paid by the club for a Mexican player.
